La muerte de Avicii sorprendió a todos.  A partir de entonces, los mensajes de condolencias inundaron las redes sociales.

Aquí debajor, algunos de los mensajes de los principales nombres de la música electrónica:

Genuinely heartbroken to hear about @avicii. . He was such an inspiration to me (the melody in Lost was entirely inspired by his, much better and more original track “all you need is love”) . I didn’t know Tim well, but on the 4-5 times we hung out or shared a stage he was never anything other than gracious and lovely, even as he was becoming the biggest DJ in the world. . It’s utterly tragic that he should have had a whole life of making his incredible melodies for us all, and yet he’s gone less than 10 years after his career started. . We – the dance music industry – need to get better at taking care of our younger stars. Heavy touring is mentally and physically brutal, even when you’re used to it. I can’t even imagine being remotely ready for it when I was 18. There’s always more gigs, more tracks and more money but you only get one life. This is such a wake up call. . RIP Tim Berling and thanks for all the music you made. For a short time, it made all our worlds a little brighter xx 😢

The remix I did of Levels hasn’t left my set since I mad it back in 2011. All though we weren’t “close friends” I feel this deep sadness through the connection we had through this song. Tim was a truly a genius and an innovator, yet sensitive and humble. This industry can be rough and from a far I saw it take a tole on him. I just wish I could have hugged him more and told him it would be okay .You’re music will forever be apart of mine and so many other lives. Maybe that’s the closest thing we have to immortality. I really hope you’re essence , wherever it may be in the universe is now at piece. And if in some miracle you can see this , I hope you know that as long as human beings are alive on this planet , you will forever remain an inspiration. Thank you Tim. RIP
