Ahora, Josh Wink celebra los 25 años de su plataforma Ovum con la salida de «OVUM 303» con un guiño hacia la famosa caja de ritmos de Roland -el TB-303-, responsable de los orígenes del sonido acid.

La colección incluye 25 canciones del pasado de la plataforma, con algunas variaciones, contabilizando en total unas 68 versiones diferentes. Cuenta con clásicos de Wink como «Liquid Summer» y «Are You There», además de lanzamientos de DJ Sneak, Loco Dice y KiNK, entre otros.

El lanzamiento no tiene precio establecido y propone a los compradores «pagar lo que quieran». Todas las ganancias se destinan al programa escolar Philly Pops, que integra a maestros de orquesta en las escuelas del área de Filadelfia, brindando educación a unos 2500 estudiantes.

As 2019 nears its end, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on what the past 25 years of my career have meant to me. My label, my fans, my city, and everyone in between have all played an important role in this ride. Every day that I get up and do what I love is a gift, and you all have given me a lifetime supply. After 25 years of Liquid Summers and Autumn Dayz, I think It’s time to return the favor in a different way, in the spirit of the Thanksgiving holiday.
